Fees Are Not the Same as Markups

To receive $250 after a 15.5% platform deduction alone, divide $250 by 0.845: the required selling price is approximately $295.86, an 18.34% increase. Adding 15.5% is not enough.

Platform presets are informational starting points, not universal contracted fees. Lodging taxes require a verified jurisdiction rate or manual entry and are never counted as owner profit.
